历史及名称：
    公司成立于1958年11月8日，系有较久历史的国际贸易企业。公司原称山东省机械进出口公司，2000年5月更名为山东省机械进出口集团公司。

员工及机构：
    公司现有在册职工约计600人，内设29个国际贸易权属企业或机构、3个仓储运输和国际货代全资子企业，并建立了数以百计的权属生产企业。

经营范围及发展方向：
    经过几十年的发展，公司已从机电产品专业公司发展成为经营各类商品的综合性集团，贸易方式也由进口出口扩展至加工贸易、对销和转口贸易、工程承包、劳务输出、仓储运输和国际货代、生产制造及国内销售等领域。
公司目前的主要出口产品和项目包括船舶及海运设施，火力、水力发电设备及项目建设，纺织机械、粮油食品机械、包装机械、石油化工机械、塑料橡胶机械、建筑工程机械、动力机械等各类机械及成套设备，工具、农具、索具、餐具及各类五金、管阀产品，电工电器，纺织服装及农产品，等等。

主要经营实践及业绩：
    公司以团结、拼搏、高效、守纪为司训，激励着公司及员工不断创造新的业绩。公司曾经圆满地参与了国际性银行及基金的农林业、水利、卫生、环保，扶贫、科技开发、城市和农村供水等项目，成功完成了印尼、马来西亚、巴基斯坦、孟加拉等国家的电站、水泥、纺织等许多项目的设备供应及建设，正在积极履行着数十万吨的造船合同。
伴随着公司的进步，公司的软实力、硬实力都有了明显提升。特别是近20年来，经营业绩一直持续上升，年进出口额也攀升至7亿美元；自国家实行进出口企业排序以来，公司的出口业绩一直位居全国200强之内，进出口业绩也一直位居全国500强行列，公司还一直保持着“重合同守信用”、“省级文明单位”等称号。

History and company name

Our company was established on November 8th, 1958 and had a long history of international trade. From May, 2005, we have changed our name Shandong Machinery Import & Export Corporation into Shandong Machinery Import & Export Group Corporation.

Employees and the affiliates

We have about 600 registered employees , 29 affiliates dealing with international trade, 3 companies with its ownership in scope of warehouse, transportation and international logistics and set up hundreds of the affiliated enterprises.

Business scope and development trend

After several decades of development, we have got to become an integrated group corporation from a professional company dealing with only machinery and electronic products. The trade modes have been changed and expanded from the import and export activities into the fields of processing , counter and carrying trade, engineering contracting, labor export ，warehouse and transportation, international logistics, manufacture and sales in domestic market.
At present, our main export products and projects include ships and freight equipment， power plant and its relative projects, textile machinery, grain and oil processing machinery and food processing machinery, packaging machinery, petrochemical machinery, plastic and rubber machinery, construction engineering machinery, power machinery and complete producing lines, hand tools, agricultural implements, rigging hardware, tableware and all kinds of hardware, tube and valve, electronics, textile products, garments and agricultural products, etc.

Main business practice and achievement

“United, Fighting, High-efficient, Disciplined” has been taken as the spirit of our enterprise, which inspires all the members of our company to create new achievements one after another. We have fruitfully participated in so many projects organized by the international banks and fund, including the projects of agriculture and forest, irrigation, sanitation, environment protection, assistance to the poor, technical development, water supply in city and country. We have also accomplished the construction and equipment supply in the projects of power plant, cement, textile, etc., in Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan and Bangladesh and we are zealously performing the contract of hundreds thousand tons of shipbuilding.
Going with the development, the strength of our company has been obviously enhanced. Especially during the latest 20 years, the management achievement has been raising continually at all times. The annual amount of import and export has been up to 7 hundred millions dollars. Our achievement has been ranged within the top 200 enterprises all along in our country as per the official ranking and the total volume of the import and export has been ranked within top 500. We have been keeping the glorious title” Respect the contract and maintain the credit” and “ Provincial Civilized Enterprise”.
